Sunniana8 avril Back Again!!!My Gosh!!! For how many months have I disappeared! Sorry Guys!
So here's some highlights of the life in the past year (2007). Busy at my work. Then I went to Shanghai in May for business trip and stayed there for an extra 4 days to visit the city and Hangzhou. Came back to work after holidays - even busier - because I had to get ready for the audit in July. The audit was successful, then life becamse more relaxed until December because I took my Driving Test on the 26th (that's why I didn't really enjoy my Christmas holidays becayse I was so nervous beforehand). Luckily I passed the test and got my Driving License. Between 27 Dec to 3 Jan, I went to Malaysia with my best best friends. It was an exciting trip, a lot of happy memories (see my updated new photo album) - I hope I will tell you more about this trip as it was one of the best trip I've ever had. Then back to Macau again and worked, worked and worked until Chinese New Year. I love New Year Time not just because of the atmosphere and delicacies, but most importantly, $$$ HAHA!!! I GOT A LOT OF LAI SI!!! After New Year, the Goddess of Fortune suddenly left me! I actually found that I got a big nump on my right side of my neck. The doctor told me that I had a congenital disease known as "Branchial Cleft Cyst" and urged me to get a surgery (since the disease cannot be cured by any kind of medication). I took the surgery on 10 March in HK and stayed in hospital for 4 days and took an extra 1 week sick leave. I am recovering now and is progressing well, the cyst has been taken out and it's examied begnin (thx God). What has been left to my body is a 4-cm scar on the right side of my neck. The time when I was sick is one of my hardest moments in my life. I realized that HEALTH is so so precious to me and I promise I will take good care of myself. And also I'd like to take this chance to give thanks to my family, my best best friends and kind colleagues who gave me the greatest support during the time when I was sick!!! I LOVE YOU ALL~~~

God bless you all~ 25 décembre Amazing December, and the latest updatesHey my dearest all~ Greetings! After 7 months of disappearance, here I'm back again to the Blog, and want to share with you guys my latest updates.
For those who have not yet informed: I'm no longer working for Jingdou Language Centre. I'm right now working as a Occupational Safety Officer (my"official" title is Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Officer) for Chubb Macau (www.chubb.com.hk). This post is extremely challenging and, thanks God, I'm granted a chance to show my talent. Every colleague (from Macauas well as from Asia Region) is very friendly and cooperative--and I'm glad be part of the company.
"Work hard but no play" is not good
Planning for a trip is not hard at all. Just a week ago I, my friend Dino and my "sisters" & "brother-in-law" all flew to, in my point of view, the most exotic and amazing city in Asia -- Bangkok, the City of Life. Believe me or not, this trip is planned in less than a month! More specifically, the "concept-to-action" time, I should say, was no longer than an hour.
This 4-day-3-night trip to Bangkok is just awesome. Not not did I enjoyed the best and most traditional Thai food. but also I was well-equipped with Baht for my crazy shopping there! Now, I should say Bangkok, but no longer Hong Kong, is the Heaven of Shopping in Asia!!!
But the best of this trip is~ I was accompanied on the journey by my best friends. What can be much better than this?

17 mai 天國之階梯今天，珍珠在澳門附近經過，雖然未玫於使我們掛起八號風球，但卻使我們的天空灰黑一片。
就在黃昏時，雨停了，雲層中露出小許陽光。
走到窗旁，驚喜萬分，因為看到一道雨後彩虹高掛灰天之上。
彩虹又長又清楚，七種顏色盡入眼簾。頓時為沈悶的天色帶來一片色彩。
上一次看到彩虹已是很久很久以前的事了。今次再見，是一種幸運。
在颱風時候看到彩虹，在黑夜降臨前看到彩虹，是一種福氣。
此時此刻，就覺得天國離我不遠。
天國之階梯，是可遇不可求。
就像我們做人那樣，
命裏有時終須有，命裏無時莫強求。
15 mai Ave Maria, Gratia Plena, Dominus TecumMay is the month appointed specially by the Church in honouring Virgin Mary, Mother of God.
The Possession of Our Lady of Fatima, which is one of the most important traditional Catholic events in Macau, held this year on May 13.
This is my second time joining the Possession, and it is my true honour to participate again in this sacred feast.
The Possession started at 6:30 pm, after an hour-durated Mass in the Church of Sto. Domingo. Thousands of Catholics stepped following the altar, on which the statue of Our Lady of Fatima was laid. The journey started from the Church of Sto. Domingo at the Senate's Square, via the Cathedral, City Centre, Praia Grande, Sai Wan, Ex-Governor's Palace, Castle of Santiago, Penha Hill, and finally ended at the Chapel of Our Lady on the top of Penha Hill.
The atmosphere was inspiring, peaceful and celestial. Throughout the Possession Rosary prayers were said, hymns were sung, and candles were lighted.
The climax was reached when all of the faithful ones gathered together at the little square in front of the Chapel of Our Lady following 2-hour non-stopping prayers. Everyone gave glory and praised the Lord of the Most High, and chanted resoundingly "Ave...Ave....Ave Maria".

After the possession, I went down along the staircases by which I was led to a small cave under the chapel, in which a small altar was laid. I put my candle in front of the altar, and said my little private prayer to God.
What a fantastic and unforgettable night! My heart was full of undescribable happiness, and I returning home with peerless peace.

24 avril I'm a Carnivore!病了......病了......
最近吃喝得太放肆了.....吃了泰國菜、客家菜、湖北菜、上海菜、緬甸菜、一噸一噸的街頭小食......
不辣的不吃，不是煎炸的不吃。
不冷的不喝，無味道的也不喝。
終於，臟腑失靈了。
胃腸不舒服啦！作嘔啦！頭暈啦！胃口全失啦！
吃了幾天藥，病有好轉了，但......
飲食就被監管了。
吃的只有白粥、素湯米粉、水煮菜......
喝的只有白開水......
肉，一點也沒有吃。
汽水，一口也沒有喝。
大吃大喝的日子頓時消失，只嘆無奈。
全素，雖然是健康，但一點也不太適合我，
不竟......

What a great challenge!
1989 AD summer---my first time to visit Guangzhou.
2006 AD Easter---my second time to visit Guangzhou.
One backpack, one map, one bottle of fresh water, enough cash, my ID, and, I went.
What a big, crowded, messy, exciting, impressive historic megaopolis!
With the map as my only guide, I walked and discovered from the new Guangzhou to the old Guangzhou, from the busy commercial centre to the shadowed old town, from the noisy marketplace to the tranquil riverside.
The city has grown, and is still growing.
The sceneries have been changed, and are still being changed.
It is the progression, isn't it?
